Upon completion, which is expected in mid-2021, the refinery should have the capability to produce nearly 100 million gallons of renewable diesel per year and more than 6 million gallons of renewable naphtha per year from soybean oil. The renewable diesel is expected to meet the ASTM D975 specification and qualify for programs such as the California Low Carbon Fuel Standard.

Topsoe will deliver basic engineering, license, proprietary equipment and catalyst for its HydroFlex™ technology. Construction work has begun for the 110 M$ project, scheduled to be completed in July 2021.
