Biobridges project and P&G launch a call for circular and biobased solutions in Braun and Oral-B products

In collaboration with Procter & Gamble (P&G), Biobridges project has launched a
call for sustainable, circular and biobased solutions to answer the specific
needs of P&G in Braun and Oral-B products.

Challenges
Re-design the cleaning center (device for
automatic cleaning, lubrication and charging of the shaver) for a true circular
economy while maintaining its’ functionality.
1a) Identification of an alternative biobased,
non-flammable cleaning center liquid.
1b) Replacement of cleaning center cartridge
main material (PP) with a biobased alternative material and potential cartridge
redesign.
Circular and bio-based solution to enter the
manual toothbrush into the circular economy stream and minimize trash to the
landfill.
How to apply
Step 1
The interested applicants are requested to propose
their solution to one or more of the challenges by filling this application form.
Deadline: 5 June 2020 by 17:00 CET.
Step 2
Biobridges and P&G will select 6/8 most
promising innovative solutions.
Step 3
The selected applicants will be invited to participate,
pitching their innovative ideas, to a co-creation online workshop to be held on
the 24th of June 2020. The workshop will initiate a market dialogue
and potentially will lead to a collaboration among the solution providers and
P&G.
