ABT announces a capacity increase at its biobased epichlorohydrin plant

Advanced Biochemical (Thailand) Co., Ltd. (ABT, wholly-owned subsidiary of the Vinythai public company) has announced a capacity increase at its biobased epichlorohydrin (ECH) plant in Map Ta Phut (Thailand).

The capacity will reach 120,000 tons/year, representing an increase of 20,000 tons/year. Permission for this increase was granted by the Industrial Estate Authority of Thailand. The capacity increase at ABT’s plant was made possible thanks to improvements in process efficiency and process optimizations in production. Less waste is also being generated at the plant due to optimized recycling technology. ABT has produced its biobased ECH since 2012 using a patented technology, based on natural and renewable glycerine instead of fossil propylene.

Mura begins construction works on its first commercial-scale advanced recycling plant in Teesside

Versión en Español Type of post: NEWS. Mura has announced that construction has started on the world’s first commercial-scale plant to use its HydroPRS process in Teesside (UK). HydroPRS (Hydrothermal Plastic Recycling Solution) is an advanced technology for plastic recycling. Press release: “ Mura Announce Teesside Project Commences Build & New Partnerships ”, 25/03/2021. STC acquires DuPont’s G2 ethanol technology assets

Sustainable Technology Corporation (STC), a subsidiary of Petron Scientech Inc. , has completed the acquisition of DuPont’s 2G ethanol technology assets, capable of commercially producing ethanol from cellulosic biomass.
