The Blog reported last September that St1 had decided to construct a hydrogen manufacturing unit with the goal of starting the production of renewable diesel at its Gothenburg refinery. Alfa Laval has won an order for a process line to be installed in this new biorefinery. The order includes various pieces of equipment that will remove various impurities from waste fats and oils, which later will be converted into renewable fuels. Deliveries are scheduled for 2021.
