under the Advanced Biofuels Demonstration Competition.
Two of the projects are being funded under the
Stage Two of government’s Future Fuels for
Flight and Freight Competition (F4C). KEW Projects and Rika Biogas have
been awarded a share of 6.5 M£ to build plants which aim to provide fuel for
heavy goods vehicles. The F4C was launched on the 27 April 2017 by the DfT to
promote the development of an advanced low carbon fuels industry within the UK and
is providing up to 20 M£ in capital grant funding over 3 years (2019-21).
