Gevo intends to build a renewable fuels production plant in Lake Preston

Gevo has announced that it has reserved the right to purchase approximately 239 acres of land near Lake Preston (South Dakota, USA), meeting the initial milestone to secure control of a site for one of its expansion projects.

Gevo pursues a licensing and developer strategy that is expected to enable the construction of up to three production facilities and capacity expansions. The production facility planned for Lake Preston is contemplated to produce about 45 Mgal per year of jet fuel and renewable gasoline products. Gevo intends to make a decision on whether to purchase the Lake Preston site in the future as part of the Citigroup led project financing.
Moreover, Gevo has engaged Koch Project Solutions, LLC to provide front end engineering, design and project execution management services for its expansion projects.
