The US Department of Agriculture (USDA) Rural
Development is accepting applications for loan guarantees to support the
commercial-scale development of biofuels based on renewable feedstocks.

The Biorefinery,
Renewable Chemical, and Biobased Products Manufacturing Assistance Program
provides loan guarantees of up to 250 M$ to help develop, construct, or
retrofit commercial-scale biorefineries and to develop renewable chemicals and
biobased product manufacturing facilities. Funding provided through this
program is intended to diversify markets for agricultural and forestry products
and agricultural waste material; create jobs and enhance the rural economy;
increase the energy independence of the United States; and promote resource
conservation, public health, and the environment.
A non-binding letter of intent to apply must be
received no later than March 2, 2020. Applications must be received no later
than 1:30 p.m. (PDT) on April 1, 2020. For additional information, including
