BPF and Wageningen Food & Biobased Research join forces to co-develop biobased processes for the chemical and the agri-food industries

- Bioprocess Pilot Facility B.V. (BPF, located on the Biotech Campus Delft) and Wageningen Food & Biobased Research (with facilities on the Campus of Wageningen University & Research) are highly qualified and specialized organisations focused on the agri-food and sustainable chemistry areas. The first one is devoted to develop biotechnological processes on a pilot scale, whereas the second one focuses primarily on biochemical conversion, biorefining and biobased processes at lab scale. Their client portfolio strongly overlaps.
- Starting April 1st 2019, both organisations will join forces to co-develop biobased processes for the chemical and the agri-food industries. This cooperation will de-risk and speed up the commercialization for their customers. By working closely together, they will be able to offer a fully integrated development process, from process design on paper to a solid business case.

ANA and LanzaTech sign agreement for the purchase of sustainable aviation fuel

All Nippon Airways (ANA), Japan's largest airline (on the basis of fleet size), has signed an offtake agreement with LanzaTech that will allow it to purchase sustainable aviation fuel (SAF), a significant step in ANA's efforts to minimize its environmental impact. By working with LanzaTech to implement SAF, ANA hopes to enhance the quality of fuel used in its aircraft while also meeting the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) as part of its efforts to become the most eco-friendly airline group in the world. Gevo signs sustainable aviation fuel sales agreement with Scandinavian Airline System
