BPF and Wageningen Food & Biobased Research join forces to co-develop biobased processes for the chemical and the agri-food industries
Type of post: FLASH NEWS.
- Bioprocess
Pilot Facility B.V. (BPF, located on the Biotech Campus Delft) and Wageningen
Food & Biobased Research (with facilities on the Campus of Wageningen
University & Research) are highly qualified and specialized organisations focused
on the agri-food and sustainable chemistry areas. The first one is devoted to develop
biotechnological processes on a pilot scale, whereas the second one focuses
primarily on biochemical conversion, biorefining and biobased processes at lab
scale. Their client portfolio strongly overlaps.
- Starting April 1st 2019, both organisations
will join forces to co-develop biobased processes for the chemical and the
agri-food industries. This cooperation will de-risk and speed up the
commercialization for their customers. By working closely together, they will
be able to offer a fully integrated development process, from process design on
paper to a solid business case.

BPF and Wageningen Food & Biobased Research”, 3/4/2019.
