DSM and METEX NØØVISTA join forces to market bio-PDO

Royal DSM and METEX NØØVISTA (industrial subsidiary of METabolic EXplorer, a biological chemistry company that develops and industrializes competitive and sustainable fermentation processes) have announced an exclusive global strategic collaboration to deliver the first made-in-Europe cosmetic grade of PDO (1,3-propanediol), 100% biobased and sourced from non-GMO feedstocks under the DSM TILAMAR® brand (TILAMAR® PDO with NØØVISTA).

This exclusive strategic collaboration combines DSM’s scientific expertise in personal care applications and its global reach with METEX NØØVISTA’s expertise in production of biobased functional ingredients by fermentation.

TILAMAR® PDO with NØØVISTA is a multifunctional ingredient with proven performance and benefits such as solvent, humectant and preservative booster suitable for all cosmetic applications. It will be produced at a facility in Carling Saint Avold (France) that will have an initial capacity of 5 ktons to cover the growing global demand for cosmetic grade of PDO. The production of this first European plant is planned to start at the end of 2020.

Mura begins construction works on its first commercial-scale advanced recycling plant in Teesside

Versión en Español Type of post: NEWS. Mura has announced that construction has started on the world’s first commercial-scale plant to use its HydroPRS process in Teesside (UK). HydroPRS (Hydrothermal Plastic Recycling Solution) is an advanced technology for plastic recycling. Press release: “ Mura Announce Teesside Project Commences Build & New Partnerships ”, 25/03/2021. STC acquires DuPont’s G2 ethanol technology assets
