This highly specialized laboratory and upgrader is enhancing Steeper’s expertise and patent portfolio for the upgrading of its Hydrofaction® Oil to ASTM specified drop-in biofuels and value-added biochemicals. ABC aims to develop economic pathways to 100% renewable fuels and chemicals and deliver solutions for Project Licensees to maximize returns.

It is a naturally occurring aldaric acid, typically found in small amounts in a variety of fruits and vegetables. It is a highly functionalized compound with four chiral carbons and a plethora of reaction pathways.
