Profile: 5th Latin American Congress on Biorefineries – From laboratory to industrial practice
Type of post: EVENT PROFILE.
The BioRefineries Blog proudly announces its
media partnership with the 5th Latin American Congress on
Biorefineries, a
great platform for multidisciplinary dialogue and discussion on the advances of
the biorefining sector. There will be 3 days of keynote lectures, oral
presentations, poster sessions and parallel activities that will highlight new
processes and products.
The global paradigm shift from an oil-based
production towards a biomass-based production represents a unique chance to
start a competitive bioeconomy with significant societal benefits.
Biorefineries are in the heart of this transition and their development provides
exciting opportunities to generate differentiated products with a low
ecological footprint and widespread market acceptance. After years of
scientific and technological research, industrial applications are becoming an
attractive reality. The congress will be a showcase of those applications.
