NEXT Renewable Fuels secures land in Oregon for its renewable diesel biorefinery

NEXT Renewable Fuels (NEXT), company focused on the development and production of advanced biofuels, has agreed to purchase a 25 acre parcel at the Port Westward Industrial Park (Oregon, USA) for the construction of its renewable diesel biorefinery. The land is zoned industrial and was purchased from Teevin Bros, a local material handling and timber company.

Honeywell UOP’s Ecofining.
Feedstock
Cooking oils, animal tallows and selected virgin seed and vegetable oils.
Product and production capacity
More than 37,000 barrels/day of renewable diesel.
They will be sold to Shell and other partners.
Employment effect
200 skilled workers.
Start-up
2021.
