El producto mayoritario del proceso
Kraft utilizado en la biorrefinería de Pölls es pulpa de la que una parte es
directamente convertida en diferentes grados de papel para empaquetado. El
licor negro procedente del proceso de obtención de la pulpa se quema en la
caldera de recuperación para generar calor y electricidad que son consumidos
tanto a nivel interno como externo. Además de la pulpa, el papel, el calor y la
electricidad, la planta produce tall oil y aceite de trementina. Estos
productos se utilizan como materia prima en la fabricación de neumáticos,
asfaltos, perfumes, adhesivos,... The major product
from the Kraft pulping process in Pöls is market pulp and a part is directly
converted to packaging paper grades. The black liquor from the pulping process is
burned in the recovery boiler to generate power and heat for internal and
external usage. Besides pulp, paper, heat and power, Zellstoff
Pöls is producing tall oil and turpentine oil. These are interesting
raw materials, from which a large variety of products can be
produced: tires, asphalt, perfumes, adhesives, paints, etc.
