The BioRefineries Blog proudly announces its media partnership with the 5 th Latin American Congress on Biorefineries , a great platform for multidisciplinary dialogue and discussion on the advances of the biorefining sector. There will be 3 days of keynote lectures, oral presentations, poster sessions and parallel activities that will highlight new processes and products. The global paradigm shift from an oil-based production towards a biomass-based production represents a unique chance to start a competitive bioeconomy with significant societal benefits. Biorefineries are in the heart of this transition and their development provides exciting opportunities to generate differentiated products with a low ecological footprint and widespread market acceptance. Global Green Chemical Public Company Limited (GGC), una filial del fabricante de productos químicos tailandés PTT Global Chemical Public Company Limited (PTTGC), y Kaset Thai International Sugar Corporation Public Company Limited (KTIS) han firmado un acuerdo de entendimiento para invertir en un complejo de bioindustrias en la provincia de Nakhon Sawan (Tailandia) el pasado 6 de febrero. Global Green Chemical Public Company Limited (GGC), a subsidiary of Thailand’s chemical manufacturer PTT Global Chemical Public Company Limited (PTTGC), and Kaset Thai International Sugar Corporation Public Company Limited (KTIS) have signed a memorandum of understanding to invest in a bioindustries complex in Nakhon Sawan Province (Thailand) on 6 th February. El pasado octubre, la empresa anunciaba que estaba evaluando la construcción de una biorrefinería forestal para producir productos químicos sostenibles en Alemania (véase entrada , 25/10/2017). Ahora, está estudiando nuevas oportunidades para desarrollar su área de biocombustibles con el comienzo del estudio de impacto ambiental para otra biorrefinería en Finlandia (véase nota de prensa , 5/2/2018). Este es el resumen de los datos recogidos en la nota de prensa: Localización Mussalo (Kotka, al sudeste de Finlandia).
