Green Fuels Research obtiene una subvención para su proyecto de microalgas MISTY

Green Fuels Research ha anunciado que ha recibido una subvención del Programa de Innovación de Materias Primas de Biomasa del Departamento de Negocios, Energía y Estrategias Industriales de Reino Unido para su proyecto de microalgas ( Microalgae Biomass Sustainability,  MISTY). Dicho proyecto tiene por objetivo aumentar la productividad de la biomasa de microalgas en el Reino Unido mediante el cultivo conjunto de microalgas con bacterias, utilizando aguas residuales de cervecerías e industrias lácteas. Green Fuels Research has announced that they have been awarded grant funding under the UK Department for Business, Energy and Industrial Strategy’s Biomass Feedstocks Innovation Programme for its Microalgae Biomass Sustainability project (MISTY). Such project aims to increase microalgal biomass productivity in the UK by co-culturing microalgae with bacteria, using wastewater from breweries and dairy industries. ExxonMobil ha anunciado que su filial Imperial Oil Ltd. está avanzando con planes para producir diésel renovable en un nuevo complejo en su refinería Strathcona en Edmonton (Canadá). ExxonMobil has announced that its majority-owned affiliate Imperial Oil Ltd. is moving forward with plans to produce renewable diesel at a new complex at its Strathcona refinery in Edmonton (Canada).
